BuildingBanners.com placed on whypark today.
Building banners are the very large vinyl banners often seen handing on the sides of buildings with colorful adverts on them.

Ok, I got two e-mails and a PM asking to elaborate on sub domains and how to use them on Whypark.I’ll do my best to explain…
To have a sub domain, you first need a domain.
I’ll use conference.im as an example because it’s the only one I’ve done it on (so far).
The *domain* = conference.im
The *sub domains* I built on conference.im are :
chat.conference.im
video.conference.im
international.conference.im
audio.conference.im
business.conference.im
internet.conference.im
online.conference.im
telephone.conference.im
education.conference.im
annual.conference.im
free.conference.im
medical.conference.im
web.conference.im
hd.conference.im
ip.conference.imSince sub domains are free, you could have a million of them if you wanted…
Note the “dot” (.) in between the sub domain and the domain, because that’s how you have to add them into your CP at Whypark. Each one is a separate domain to WP. Each is fully configurable, just like a regular domain. In the old days, when you had 100 domains for $100 bucks, it may have not been worth burning up your allotment for sub domains, but it’s unlimited domains now - so the sky is the limit.
To input a sub domain in your WP CP, just add it like this with the dot (.):
You can now configure it just like any domain. Stats, Title, description, Ads, etc.
What I do it is I add the sub domains in bulk, then put them in a folder called “conference.im“. From there I can bulk change the layout, stats, etc. You still have to dial each sub domain description and title individually, but the rest can be done in the Bulk tool. Sure saves a lot of time.
Once my domain and sub domains were in, I created the navigational links on the left column in my layout section so a user can easily visit the other sub domains. Saving the layout, I can then apply that layout to all domains in my conference.im folder with a couple clicks.
Strong stuff from a cost and keyword point of view, especially if you get a decent single word domain that works with different sub domain words in front of it.
That’s pretty much it.
Hope it helps, remember it’s not the cards (domains) you have dealt to you, but it’s really about how you play’m….

I tried this approach with a sub domain of ijp.ne: hotels.ijp.net

Now that Whypark allow you to point unlimited domains at them for no fee, many more have been uploaded. I also notice that auto-optimized domain keywords are now generated even if you do not enter any keywords.

One of the biggest potential sources of traffic to your site is Google. Google will give a higher ranking to sites that have many backlinks, especially if the sites that link to it have good PageRank. So how do you get such backlinks. One way is to find relevant blogs and post comments there. However if the blog has the NoFollow attribute set, you won’t benefit from the backlinks.
I use two tools to help me find suitable blogs that do not have the nofollow attribute set and that have good Pagerank.
Firstly, I installed the Quirk Searchstatus addon into Firefox. It shows the PageRank and the Alexa rank of the site you are visiting and on top of that, it can Highlight all NoFollow links on sites you visit. You can download it here. To set it to highlight NoFollow links, right click on the small icon that appears at the bottom right of the Firefox window.
Secondly, I use the following search engine to find blogs that have NoFollowlinks: TheyFollow
A few more hints:
- Make sure the blog posts you comment on are relevant
- Wirte something relevant and useful in your comment
- Try to comment on recent posts in the blog
If you have any other hints, please leave a comment here.

I have now used Whypark to create a new site: http://adjustableglasses.com. I registered this domain because of innovative work by a visionary scientist who created “One-Size-Fits-All” adjustable glasses. These are adjusted by the user themself until they can see clearly. The scientist was definitely visionary in more than one sense of the word.

I had an idea for a new kind of product — a digital photo t-shirt. You can read about it here:

I created this web-site together with my nephew and it uses quite a nice template.
